Why I am running

I have a deep and abiding love for this country, who we are as Americans, and what we’ve accomplished. I also know that the Constitutional obligation we have as citizens “to form a more perfect union” continues to this day. I joined the Marine Corps to serve my country. As a husband, father, businessman, and citizen I view it as my obligation to serve in other ways now. West Chester is a great place today and I want to make sure we have the policies in place for it to remain the kind of place families want to live and businesses want to locate to. I believe we are all on the same team, and as part of my message of West Chester First, I will always keep in mind we are all citizens of the same team.

What you can expect from me

The Marine Corps has core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. I’ve always tried to live those out. What those words mean to me: Honor is, at its simplest, acting in ways that would make my grandmother proud. Courage: As trustee I pledge to do the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason and always act ethically in the township’s best interest. (Note: Thanks to the members of the community who helped me better craft this wording.) Commitment: I will put in the work required for West Chester to have the level of performance excellence the position of Trustee deserves.
